In Slovenia (11th, 12th, 15th May 2026), the local workshops were organised by Ljudska univerza Rogaška Slatina (LURS), drawing on the robust network of its active University for the Third Age (UTŽO) and its Intergenerational Learning Centre. The sessions aimed to promote digital and financial inclusion among older adults in the region by improving their knowledge and confidence in navigating online banking environments autonomously.

During the events, participants were introduced to the official DigiSeniorBank project website and the ‘Digital Banking Literacy Kit’, a key resource designed to support self-paced, continuous learning. The workshops provided a highly supportive and collaborative space where attendees could ask questions, share their personal experiences, and acquire practical skills for the safe and responsible use of online and mobile banking. Through this initiative, LURS successfully raised awareness of digital financial services, strengthened cybersecurity knowledge, and championed lifelong learning among older citizens in the local community.
